Dattajirao Kadam Art, Science and Commerce College,Ichalkaranji is the first multi-disciplinary college in the city of Ichalkaranji popularly known as the “Manchester of Maharashtra”.The college is assessed and accredited with “A” grade by NAAC Bengaluru.

It is a college of Shri Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Sanstha, Kolhapur which celebrated Diamond Jubilee Year (Amrit Mahotsav) and has a glorious history in the field of education. Inspired by the motto of Founder President, ShikshanmaharshiDr. Bapuji Salunkhe, "Dissemination for Knowledge, Science and Culture", the college strives hard for academic excellence.

This college is imparting higher education to poor, underprivileged students andchildren of labourers. This college is committed to make the future of the young generation bright who are the real architects of our nation.

It is worth noting that the newly implemented National Education Policy (NEP) has resulted in considerable changes in the Indian educational system. The NEP strives to reform education by emphasising holistic growth, transdisciplinary learning, and skill improvement. At DKASC College, we have adopted the NEP’s values and are actively implementing them into our curriculum following the guidelines of affiliated university i.e. Shivaji University, Kolhapur. We are committed to develop well-rounded individuals who can adapt, innovate, and make important contributions to society.
