Introduction
The Department of Statistics at Dattajirao Kadam Arts, Science, and Commerce College, Ichalkaranji, was originally established in 1977 as a joint department with Mathematics. In the academic year 2020-21, the Statistics section became an independent department. Since then, the department has been committed to offering high-quality education in statistics, with a focus on developing expertise in advanced Excel, R-programming, and Python. Our curriculum equips students with the skills needed to excel in various fields, including business, finance, data science, and research. The faculty is dedicated to fostering analytical thinking and critical problem-solving, helping students apply statistical concepts to real-world scenarios.
