नमस्कार माझे नाव आरती मुटकर . सध्या मी शिवाजी यूनिवर्सिटी , कोल्हापूर मध्ये M.Sc. ( Statistics ) शिकत आहे . मी अकरावी पासून दत्ताजीराव कदम आर्ट्स सायन्स अँड कॉमर्स कॉलेज इचलकरंजी मध्ये शिकले आहे. ज्यावेळी मी B.Sc. first year ला होते त्यावेळी माझी ओळख Statistics या विषयाशी व Department Of Statistics यांच्याशी झाली . सुरवातीला स्टॅटिस्टिक्स हा विषय मला खूपच अवघड वाटत असे , पण त्यानंतर मला शिकवायला आलेल्या प्रा . आवधूत ढोकरे सर , प्रा. विजय सूर्यवंशी सर , प्रा. रोहित सदलगे सर , प्रा . धनश्री कांबळे मॅडम , प्रा. स्नेहल जाधव मॅडम यांच्यामुळे हा विषय खूप सोपं वाटू लागला . या सर्व शिक्षकांची शिकवण्याची पद्धत खूपच सोपी असायची, यामुळे अवघड वाटणारे concept आम्हाला सहज समजू लागले . या सर्वांचे प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्यांशी असणार नात पण खूपच friendly असायच . कोणताही विद्यार्थी कोणताही प्रॉब्लेम ( मग तो statistics चा असो वा दूसरा कोणताही असो ) घेऊन या शिक्षकांकडे सहज व अगदी हक्काने यांच्याकडे जात होते . व यांनी पण नेहमी योग्य ते Solution देत होते . आजही काही अडचण असेल तर आम्ही हक्काने यांच्याकडे जातो. आमच स्टॅटिस्टिक्स डिपार्टमेंट ही नेहमीच आमच्यासाठी हक्काच घर आहे . मी स्वतःला खूप भाग्यवान समजते की यासारखे शिक्षका व डिपार्टमेंट आम्हाला मिळाले .

I want to express my appreciation for the excellence of the Statistics Department. There was always a cheerful, energetic, and inspiring atmosphere in the department. The teachers' passion for statistics was contagious, making learning truly enjoyable. We learned from them that statistics is not just a subject but has real-life applications. The teachers taught all subjects with dedication and passion. They prioritized the overall progress of the students and always helped with any difficulties during projects or practicals.

All the necessary facilities were available in the department, such as classrooms, a computer lab, and personal computers for each student. There was a strong and understanding bond between the teachers and students. I deeply appreciate how the teachers respected the students, had high expectations for everyone, and helped maximize each student’s success.

I can’t forget the experiences we shared, like assignments, programs, and group studies. Friends were always ready to help each other, and I’ll never forget the fun and memorable moments we had in the computer lab. Both teachers and friends were always willing to help each other, fostering a supportive environment.

There is no better place than the Statistics Department. I will always be thankful for the great support I received. Those were truly memorable days at the Department of Statistics at DKASC College, Ichalkaranji.

My experience at the Department of Statistics in Ichalkaranji was truly memorable. The teachers there were knowledgeable and approachable, always willing to help with doubts and ensure we understood complex concepts. As for friends, I was fortunate to be surrounded by a group of like-minded individuals who shared my passion for learning. Hello,I'm Shreya Ganesh Khetmar, a 2023 graduate from the B.Sc Statistics Department at DKASC College. My experience at the college has been very positive, with a supportive environment that encourages both academic and personal growth. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, making learning engaging, though more practical learning could enhance the experience. The campus is inclusive, with a great balance of academics and extracurriculars. I’ve made lasting friendships and gained valuable perspectives. Some areas for improvement include increasing resources like mental health support and career counseling.
