The industrial visit was held on 25th February 2020. Initially, there was a presentation on domestic & global opportunities for physics and electronics students in fuel and electronics industry in India and abroad. There was eminent personality like Mr. Tare A.D. who graced the occasion with their presence. 4 days training was given to the students in industry. Good coordination and cooperation got from Manager & employee of Fuel instrument Eng. Pvt. Ltd. to students. Fuel Instruments and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. - FIE a Ichalkaranji based group has grown since its inception in 1953 to emerge as a leader in the testing machines, SPM's, Auto components Manufacturing sector. From developing variety of machines and Research, Carburetor, CNCs, Forging and Castings - FIE has been there. With more than 1,00,000 installations FIE has created an unmatchable knowledge-base in the testing machine segment. At our industrial visit and training we studied about following machines, features and applications.

“World space week” is celebrated from 4th October to 10th October, is the largest space event on Earth. More than 5,000 events in over 80 countries celebrated the theme “Space Unites the World” in 2018. The 2019 theme is “The Moon: Gateway to the Stars.” On this occasion, Department of Physics organized the programme of poster presentation for the students of B.Sc. II and B.Sc. III dated on 5th, Oct. 2019. For this function, Hon. Principal of a college Mr. R. R. Kumbhar was present as chief guest of a programme. Also Dr. D. A. Yadav, Head of department of Electronics, Mr. D. J. Mungare, Head of department of Mathematics, Dr. V. V. Ganbavle Head of department of Physics, Mrs. V. S. Dhobale were present for the function. Students had chosen a topic for poster presentation as “Contribution of Women to the science field”. They had collected lot of information about different Women Scientists in order to prepare poster and had arranged poster exhibition in college campus. All the students presented their posters very nicely in front of the Hon. Principal Sir. The principal Sir appreciated all the students for their active participation in a programme.

Department of Physics has organized Video lecture on ‘black Hole’ for the B.Sc. I students dated 12th Oct, 2019. This lecture was arranged in order to increase the curiosity of students and to enrich the knowledge of students regarding to the space objects. This lecture gave a lot of information as, Black hole is a region of spacetime exhibiting gravitational acceleration so strong that nothing-no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light can escape from it. Black holes of stellar mass are expected to form when very massive stars collapse at the end of their life cycle. After a black hole has formed, it can continue to grow by absorbing mass from its surroundings. By absorbing other stars and merging with other black holes, super massive blck holes of millions ofsolar masses may form. For the function, all the B.Sc. I students of div A, B, and C gave their active participation had attended the lecture.

Department of Physics has arranged Guest lecture for the B.Sc. II and B.Sc. III students dated 10th, Oct, 2019, on Chandrayan II, on the occasion of World Space Week. For this function prof. Dr. D. P. Nade, invited as a chief guest, from Sanjay Ghodawat University, Attigre. He delivered a lecture on the topic Chandrayan 2. Dr. V. V. Ganbavale, Head of department of physics, prof. Mrs. V. S. Dhobale were present for the function. The programme was started by lamp lightening and by Worshiping Lord Sarswati. After that prof. R.D. Kambale introduced a journey of Dr. D. P. Nade sir. Dr. Nade sir gave information about ISRO and Chandrayan II mission. Chandrayaan-2 mission is a highly complex mission, which represents a significant technological leap compared to the previous missions of ISRO, which brought together an Orbiter, Lander and Rover with the goal of exploring South Pole of the Moon. This is a unique mission which aims at studying not just one area of the Moon but all the areas combining the exosphere, the surface as well as the sub-surface of the moon in a single mission. And the programme ends by vote of thanks.
