BACKGROUND & HISTORICITY OF THE COLLEGE
The institution is founded in 1st June 1962 in the historical town of Ichalkaranji.
The college is named after a social worker and a leader, Dattajirao Kadam.
The first college in Hatkanangale Tehsil for UG (1962) & PG (2007).
Ichalkaranji city is a leading centre of the textile industry also known as the "MANCHESTER OF MAHARASHTRA".
Ichalkaranji is a cosmopolitan town with mixed community from all parts of India.
The population of Ichalkaranji as per census 2021 was 3,72,000.
