The Grievance Redressal Committee at our institution is dedicated to addressing and resolving complaints and concerns raised by students in a timely, fair and impartial manner. The committee ensures that the voices of students are heard and their issues are resolved in accordance with the institution's policies and ethical standards.
Objectives:
- To provide a platform for students to raise their grievances regarding academic, administrative, or personal matters.
- To ensure that grievances are resolved promptly and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
- To create a harmonious and responsive environment that encourages students to express their concerns without fear of retaliation.
Types of Grievances Addressed:
Academic issues: Discrepancies in assessment, examination-related grievances, attendance, course registration and academic performance.
Non-academic issues: Concerns related to infrastructure, hostel facilities, library services and other campus amenities.
Personal grievances: Issues related to harassment, discrimination, or any form of unfair treatment.
Grievance Submission:
Students can submit their grievances through the following channels:
Online Portal: Fill out the grievance form available on the student portal.
Offline: Submit a written complaint to the GRC office located in the administrative block.
Grievance Redressal Procedure:
1. Submission: The student submits their grievance via the online or offline mode.
2. Acknowledgment: The GRC acknowledges the receipt of the grievance and provides an initial response.
3. Investigation: The committee investigates the issue, seeking input from relevant parties.
4. Resolution: After careful review, the committee provides an appropriate resolution within a stipulated timeframe.
5. Follow-up: The committee ensures the grievance is satisfactorily resolved and seeks feedback from the complainant.
Timeframe for Resolution:
The GRC aims to resolve grievances within **7 to 10 working days**, depending on the complexity of the issue.
