Placement Cell
The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between students and the professional world. It organizes campus interviews by inviting various companies, thereby serving two primary purposes: helping students secure their future careers and aiding industries in acquiring the best fresh talent in the region.
In addition to placement assistance, the Placement Cell is involved in several activities aimed at preparing students for the job market. These include conducting mock interviews, group discussion (GD) sessions, and resume writing workshops. The cell also plays a significant role in managing interactions and maintaining relationships with industries, ensuring a strong connection between academia and the professional sector.
PLACEMENT PROCESS
The Institute actively supports students in securing placement opportunities by inviting various companies for campus recruitment, particularly targeting those in the final year of their program who are expected to graduate by the end of the academic year.
Final placements at the college result from systematic interaction with industry partners and continuous career counseling provided to students. From the start of their program, students receive ongoing counseling regarding their career aspirations and available options. This process is followed up rigorously with potential employers to ensure their participation in the Institute’s placement program. This approach not only helps students secure their desired jobs but also aids recruiting companies in finding the right candidates for their organizations. Placement activities are governed by established guidelines to ensure fairness and efficiency.
Broad Activities Undertaken by the Placement Cell:
Formation of the Placement Cell: The cell is responsible for final placements, securing industrial training, and arranging industry-linked project work for students.
Communication and Networking: Building relationships with potential recruiters is a key function, ensuring strong connections with the industry.
Inviting Recruiters: Potential recruiters are invited to visit the Institute for placement drives.
Ongoing Placement Activities: Placement efforts continue beyond the initial recruitment period until all students are placed.
Grooming and Training: Candidates are groomed and trained to enhance their chances of selection during the placement process.
Follow-up and Administrative Activities: This includes managing joining formalities and other related administrative tasks.
College Placement Cell
Placement-related activities at the college are managed by the Placement Cell, which comprises faculty members from various departments. The committee is headed by the Placement Cell Coordinator. This committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the placement process is smooth and effective for both students and recruiters.
